Hi, my name is Nataly Prytykovsky. I am a cartoonist & an illustrator based in Jerusalem, Israel. I fond of creating of whimsical miniatures, inspired by Medieval aesthetics, Halloween & Christmas atmosphere.
I deal mainly with female characters. Being traditionaly identified with mystical power, female characters were connected in the public views with witchcraft and hidden fears. In my sculptures I try to represent them ironically, in humorous & exaggareted way.
I am excited to build narratives around my characters, placing them in everyday situations and urban surroundings. The miniature houses I use for this purpose are inspired by German & French Medieval motifs. I feel that it gives my miniatures an atmosphere of coziness and warmness, breaking the minimalism of contemporary interior design.
I believe into the impact of illustration and especially of humorous character design on a quality of our emotional experience.
